Thermostat housing B6294T

Service instructions:
Aluminium Spare-Nipple to replace a broken plastic nipple at the thermostat housing.

The Thermostat housing must be disassembled for the repair. The glued plastic nipple must be drilled out:

Step 1: 6mm drill
Step 2: 6,5mm drill
Step 3: Thread Pre-Cutter (Only Pre-Cutter!) M8x1

Be sure to drill vertically and clean without removing aluminium. The collar of the plastic nipple must be removed before the Thread Pre-Cutter can be applied.

The new nipple must be assembled with pasty thread sealent, for example SCP-62823. Note the drying time.
