Suspension spring Front axle

Spring Codes Volvo S60I, S80I, V70II, V70XC (XC70):
The code can be found at the Product Identification Plate at the left side of the engine compartment (Up to mid 2005) or at the right entriy (From mid 2005).
Please check the code line at the bottom row of the right column. The Code line has 8 diits (Up to mid 2003) or 12 digits (From mid 2003).

Front axle spring code:
The first 2 digits of the code line, for example "2L".

Rear axle spring code, 8-digit code line:
The 4+5th digit of the code line, for example "28".

Rear axle spring code, 12-digit code line:
The 6+7th digit of the code line, for example "28".

Suspension springs have always to be changed in pairs for each axle. Only replacing both springs ensures safe and problem free suspension functionality. We will not deliver single suspension springs.

Further results of single spring replacements are:
- bad steering chracteristics
- less road adherence
- longer braking distance
- incline standing car
- single-sided tire abrasion
- higher fuel consumption

V70N (P26) from '01 to '07. All models with spring code 1W, 26, 2N, 2Y, 4U, 6E, 6T or 9E

XC70 from '01 to '07. All models with spring code 1W, 26, 2N, 2Y, 4U, 6E, 6T or 9E
