To convert to a maintenance-free electronic ignition is probably the best option, keeping in mind that the distributor cap and rotor belong to parts that wear out quickly.
The electronic system also leads to a smoother running engine.
We already deliver the 2nd generation of the 123ignition. The switch to adjust the ignition curve is now located on the side. The 123ignition has a vacuum connection with a hose nipple.
Incl. manual for an easy installation. We recommend to use a high performance coil (SCP-48873, SCP-48874, OEM# 35254). The Standard-Ignition cables can continue to be used.
Important for B4B engines: At some engines the clamp is too small for the 123ignition (Inner diameter 36 mm). In this case you need a new clamp, item no. SCP-51961.
