At Volvo, there are special tools to be used to avoid clutch damage (OEM# 9995662, OEM# 9995663) When installing these parts without the proper tools there is an extremely likelihood that the clutch will be damaged. Damaged parts will not be reimbursed.
Clutch discs for dual-mass flywheels usually have no rear shock. Therefore, you can easily bend them by careless installation. The clutch will no longer run smooth, but wobbles. The clutch will no longer separate properly,. It is therefore very important to install the transmission precisely!
