For the 200 and 700 series, There are different types of drive shafts for the 200 and 700 series. This can not be seen based on the vehicle type. It can only be distinguished by the of propshaft.

In the 200 series, up to model year 1984 there are the types 1140 and 1310. They can be easily determined by the diameter of the front drive shaft prop.
Type 1140: 44.5 mm diameter
Type 1310: 50.8 mm diameter
When choosing the parts it is essential to pay attention to these numbers!
From 1985 there is only the shaft type 03, although this may have 2 different universal joints! This is where only measuring the the universal joint (universal joint diameter).

In the 700 series will be three types:
Type 02: Front shaft diameter 44.5 mm
Type 03: Front shaft diameter 50.8 mm
Type 13: This type can be determined by the measurement of the distance from the center of the middle of the shaft drive support to the middle of the universal joint.
The measurement is 208mm. (In contrast, the shaft type 03 is
106 mm spacing)
