Its necessary to assemble an additional control box (Trailermodule) which has to be released with software by a authorised Volvo workshop.
Vehicles with active Four-C suspension: Use the same trailer hitch as for the vehicles without nivomat leveling.
For 140 hp and 170 hp petrol engines without Turbo, the vehicle manufacturer recommends retrofitting an engine protection plate if a trailer hitch is fitted. The air ducts integrated in this part then improve cooling.
