Gasket, Cylinder head 0,8 mm

Service instructions:
For the B20, there are three different thicknesses for head gaskets, 0.8 - 1.2 - 2 mm. This makes it possible to vary the compression of the engine.
0.8 and 1.2 mm thick gaskets are usually used for dual carburetor and fuel injection engines.
For single carburetored engines: 1.2 and 2 mm seals come into question.
Higher compression ratio (= thinner gasket) usually results in higher performance.
Lower density (= thicker seal) is for a quieter running engine, provided the engine is mechanically sound.
Note: The thicker the gasket, the more important the immediate tightening of the cylinder head bolts!
